From my botanical journal. This time I reproduced my agapanthus pressed flowers as a faux sun print painted with white acrylic ink on a piece of very cyan handmade Amate paper.
Hi Geninne, I would never have thought to take the individual blooms from the agapanthus. Our long driveway is lined with these beauties and I'll have a whole lot of flower pressing ahead when the summer arrives.
I thought I'd let you know that you have been included in a list I've just submitted for a competition. I wrote a list of 50 people I'd like to sit beside on a long-haul flight and even though I've just started to follow your page I had to let you know that you are on the list.
Amazing! I thought it was real a sun print! This new botanical journal of yours is just beautiful and inspired.
¡Me encanta! Felicidades...
Feliz Sábado-
What a wonderful idea, very beautiful.
You know, cyanotype prints are relatively easy to make~
Thank you so much! :)
Allison: I know, I've made lots them before with my kids, but I thought it would be more fun to replicate one with ink :)
So fun. It looks exactly like those sun exposure prints (except your blue is much prettier).
Love your journals. You are such a constant source for inspiration.

Ciao for now,

Not only is your art wonderful...but it amazes me how "neatly" you work.... your workspace is always neat as a pin in your photos....!
So pretty! I think I'll have to scour the garden and start drying some flowers too, to liven up my journal. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love everything you do, really a lot of compliments
ciao

Incredible! It looks like a real sunprint. I make sunprints with my little students... they love them!

This is absolute poetry!!! So very much the sort of thing I'd like to do!
